Charlotte Motor Speedway hosts the Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout Series each Tuesday night for 10 weeks from June to August. In addition to a full program of Legends Car and Bandolero racing, the Summer Shootout Series includes special attractions, such as school bus race nights and a huge Fireworks Extravaganza Night! Racing action takes place under the lights on the quarter-mile oval located on the speedway's front straightaway.

Lug Nut, the World's Fastest Mascot, is always on hand to entertain and children can participate in fun and games. Family fun is what you can expect at the Summer Shootout Series. 

For families looking for summer camping fun, only $30 a night gets you a camping spot at the speedway with full hookups during the Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout Series. For additional info, contact the camping department at (704) 455-4445.
