The World's Largest Automotive Extravaganza returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway August 26-29, 2010. The Food Lion AutoFair annually attracts more than 100,000 visitors. It features more than 50 car clubs and more than 10,000 vendor spaces that offer a huge array of automotive parts and memorabilia.
More than 1,500 collectible vehicles of all makes and models will be available for sale in the car corral that rings the 1.5-mile superspeedway. The Food Lion AutoFair will also feature a collector car auction presented by Dealer Auctions, Inc.
AutoFair hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday. Ticket prices are $10 for adults; children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Parking for the event is $5.

The world's only collection of street-legal bumper cars, a 70th anniversary display of 1940 Fords, custom vans and recent The Tonight Show guest 92-year-old Rachel Veitch are just a few of the attractions scheduled for the Aug. 26-29 Food Lion AutoFair at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Others include custom tailgate vehicles, a car build by Tommy Pike Customs to benefit Speedway Children's Charities and the Powerade Play Zone for kids! Also, don't forget to try the Mac Daddy Dog, a hot dog encased in macaroni pasta and pimento cheese, then coated in a panko breadcrumb crust and deep fried.
