The Topless Showdown presented by Hungry-Man features the cars and stars of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series competing at The Dirt Track @ Lowe's Motor Speedway. The dirt late models will compete minus their fiberglass tops for this special "topless" event, giving fans a better view of the drivers as they navigate the lightning-fast four-tenths-mile oval.
The Showdown will be run on Thursday after qualifying for the World of Outlaws World Finals.
Once again this year the special Pa$$ing Bonu$ of $1,000 multiplied by starting position will be awarded to the winner the 50-lap Showdown if eligible. With the added bonus, the race winner could take home up to $30,000! Join us to see what drivers are up for the challenge.
Attention, all fans and participants planning to travel through Western North Carolina on I-40. Due to a rockslide that occurred at mile marker 2.6 in North Carolina, near the Tennessee state line, on Oct. 25, Interstate 40 is closed from mile marker 451 in Tennessee to mile marker 20 in North Carolina. Oct. 5 is the last day tickets will be mailed for NASCAR Banking 500 Week events. Any tickets purchased after that date will be held at Will Call.
Tickets purchased for Wednesday's race will be honored on Nov. 4. Fans with further questions should contact the Lowe's Motor Speedway ticket office at 1-800-455-FANS.
