Lowe's Motor Speedway along with its subcontractors hire thousands of individuals for positions throughout the Racing Season:

Lowe's Motor Speedway will accept applications for employment at the Security desk in the lobby of the first floor of Smith Tower, Monday thru Friday from 9am until 5pm. Guest Services & Logistics (Security, Ushers, Parking, Gates) 
All hired and managed by Lowe's Motor Speedway

Individuals are hired and paid through the LMS payroll system. The application process includes W-4 and I-9 forms, and all wages are subject to federal and state payroll tax withholdings. Starting wages are $7 per hour.

Non-Profit Group Work
Groups are hired and paid on a per man hour basis. After the group provides a detailed report after the event along with a Federal Tax ID, one check is mailed to the group. If the group supplies a Federal Tax ID, this check is not subject to Federal and State payroll tax withholdings.

Qualifications for all positions in LMS Guest Services & Logistics include:
Excellent customer service skills required
18 years or older
Friendly and outgoing
Willingness to work in any area needed and handle special assignments
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
Flexibility to work at all hours on weekdays and weekends
Team player attitude. Must work well with others
Ability to assist guests with special needs

Specific departments include:

Guest Services
Reports To: Director of Guest Services and Logistics
Additional Specific Responsibilities:
Helping Customers in Suite and Club areas
Elevator assistance
Monitoring common areas
Staffing Guest Service Booths and providing information to fans

Ticket Scanners:
Reports To: Gate Manager
Additional Specific Responsibilities:
Verifying validity of tickets and admitting fans
Checking bags and coolers for rule compliance

Usher
Reports To: Usher Supervisor
Additional Specific Responsibilities:
Provide guest assistance in the Grandstand Seating Area
Help guests locate their assigned seats
Provide guests with directions or other venue information
Assist in resolution of ticket and seating problems
Help in emergency situations
Request security for guest in need of security assistance

Parking Lot Attendant
Reports To: Parking Supervisor / Manager
Additional Specific Responsibilities:
Direct motorists to parking areas or spaces
Knowledge in hand signals, use of flags or flashlights
Provide guests with directions or information
Assist handicapped guests
Set up and take down parking equipment

Security
Reports To: Chief of Security
Additional Specific Responsibilities:
Maintain safe environment and conditions for employees and fans
Patrol Assigned Area
Watch for irregularities or problems in assigned area
Maintain Gate Control
Maintain Credential Control at Entrances
Provide Assistance to public
Provide assistance to Ushers or other Speedway personal
Prepare effective reports and correspondence

Additional Specific Qualifications:
Must be 21 yrs or older
Able to deal with members of the public in an official capacity
Physically fit
Responsible and trustworthy
Keen Observation skills and alertness
Ability to pass Criminal Background check
